Track management is continually looking at ways to improve the safety for our members as well as our clients.
The latest improvements have recently been completed by installing 130 feet of PVC reinforced belting at North two. This belting, which covers the tire wall across from the North two corner station, is designed to deflect the energy of a car making impact with the wall to allow the vehicle to slide down the wall as opposed to “sticking” in the wall and bouncing back towards the track. This is the same belting that was previously installed at south three and has proven to achieve the desired effect.
Autobahn has been, and will continue to be committed to constantly monitoring the safety of the facility both on and off the track.
