Monterey, California – Starting the weekend with a points lead is a new twist for the Blackdog Speed Shop team entering the final race of the weekend. Michael Cooper only needed to finish 15th or better in the seasons last race to wrap up the championship, and his 10th place finish in his Z/28 R was good enough to bring home the title and the third driver’s Championship in a row for Blackdog Speed Shop.
