You are invited join us for a very special Christmas Brunch on Sunday December 10th from 10:30 am to 2 pm. There will be a special performance by Joliet Junior College Chamber Singers with Conductor Professor Philip Spencer, Santa will be here, a craft table and entertainment by Magician Anthony Stockton. Along with the culinary delights of Chef Peggy and Chef Katey.

This year we will again be collecting items for Harvey Brooks Foundation in Joliet.

They are a non-profit that provides programs for youth and families in the Joliet community. Besides providing programs for character building, life-skills development and scholastic achievement. They have an after-school program, daycare center and are a food pantry location.

Below are suggested items from the Executive Director Tempie Bates.

The children are age 12 & under (girls & boys), so toys are categorized 0 -2; 3 -5; 6-8; 9 – 12…generally we tend to need more items for the 9 -12 age group…such as sports balls, handheld electronics, board games (e.g. Connect 4, checkers/chess, Chutes & Ladders, Scrabble, monopoly)…the older girls like costume jewelry sets, makeup kits, bath/body items, etc.

in addition to play toys, stuffed animals are great for the little ones. Parents even select diaper sets for the babies, bath sets, clothing, and the like…but whatever you all give we will be thankful and I know the children will be happy.

Thank-you so much in advance!
